Welcome to the Lawton and Allied Families Association.
We are the descendants of the Lawton and Robert Families of South Carolina.
Much of our family history is chronicled in Our Family Circle, complied by Annie Elizabeth Miller in 1931 (J.W. Burke Company, Macon, Georgia). A digitized version of the text is available through Ancestry.com.
2024 Annual Meeting
The 2024 annual meeting will take place April 12-13 at the Lions Club on Edisto Island
On Friday night we’ll gather to renew our friendships.
Our Saturday speaker is our Mr. Eddie Stroud, a local builder who specializes in the restoration of historic structures. He works frequently in Charleston and has begun working to complete the restoration of the Lawton-Seabrook cemetery wall.
