2020 Annual Meeting
The 2020 annual meeting will be held at the Robertville Baptist Church, April 17-18
Our speaker is our friend and honorary cousin, Dr. Eric Plaag, who is finishing his book: The Means of Grace: A History of the Robertville Baptist Church. Eric did the research, writing, presentation and advocacy to place the Lawton-Seabrook Cemetery at Edisto on the National Register of Historic Places. (Getting cemeteries on the register is always difficult and often impossible).
We have chosen the Best Western Plus in Hardeeville and the Days Inn in Hampton as our conference hotels. You may also wish to stay at a hotel or bed and breakfast in Savannah. Both hotels in Hardeeville are about a 30 minute drive south of Robertville on US 321.
On Friday night we’ll gather at the church to renew our friendships. President Neale Hightower will have a report on a recent project to add markers to the old Robert Cemetery near Robertville, and at the Lawton-Seabrook cemetery on Edisto Island.
